Author Biography: Peggy Post

Peggy Post, codirector of The Emily Post Institute, Inc., has written four adult books on etiquette and cowritten ten for children, with her sister-in-law, Cindy Post Senning. A nationally recognized authority on etiquette, Peggy has columns in Good Housekeeping and AARP and has been seen on Today, Dr. Phil, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and Good Morning America.

Book Synopsis

In this guide to etiquette for businesspeople, the authors tackle what to do in situations such as job searches, business interactions, conflicts, supervisor-employee relationships, meetings, and social events as well as cultural issues. The authors explain the reasons behind proper etiquette, its importance, and give advice on sexual harassment, telecommuting, appropriate dress, customer relationships, gifts, and written and oral communication. The new edition is more concise and has chapters on ethics, table manners, and electronic communication. There is no bibliography.
