For most antiglobalization activists most journalism isn't what they'd call helpful. "The new culture of guerilla media activism eschews objectivity" says Thomas Harding, author of "The Video Activists Handbook", a how-to guide that recently came out in a second edition. Mr. Harding says many guerilla cameramen see the mass media as pawns of large corporations. If people want to get out the word on the perils of globalization, he says, they need to do it themselves.
