Author Biography: Glen C. Schulz

Fathers rights advocate Glen C. Schulz speaks out about the detrimental effects of protracted custody disputes on children. Glen grew up in northwestern Pennsylvania and lived in Ohio until he was forced to go on the run with his children. After settling in Texas, Glen supported his family by working in the automotive industry and always found the time to attend his children s school functions and sporting events. Against overwhelming odds and after multiple arrests, Glen was finally awarded full custody of his children. Taking a leap of faith to publish this story, he currently spends his time working on a new novel and writing children s stories and poems.

Book Synopsis

THE STOLEN CHILDREN. When he married in 1971, Glen C. Schulz never dreamed it wouldn t last. Nevertheless, 10 years later, he found himself embroiled in a bitter and acrimonious custody battle. Glen was falsely accused of sexually abusing his children and his visitation rights were taken away without so much as a hearing. When it became apparent that the legal system was not on his side, he was forced to take the law into his own hands. He fled with his two children and eventually settled in Houston, Texas. On the run from the FBI and the police, Glen and his children were forced to go underground and assume false identities. Friends, teachers and family rallied around them, hiding the children when Glen was arrested and when their mother tried to steal them back. Unlawful Flight is a true story of suspense, the power of love and one father s brave stand to keep his children safe.

Midwest Book Review

A heart-wrenching story of family strife, yet also of love and ultimately of reconciliation. A final afterword from Glen's daughter rounds out the compelling tale: "There has never been a day in my whole life when I regretted what my father has done... I did eventually forge a relationship with my mother; I got to know her for eight years before her untimely death. In the end there were no harsh words spoken, just a family that had finally come full circle." A powerful testimony of one man's dedication to his children, and the trying family times that tested and tempered his faith in God.
