"Distinguished writers such as John Updike, Isaac Asimov, Arthur Miller and John Cheever have contributed their views to its pages. Celebrity photographers like Phillippe Halsman and Gene Trindl have captured the faces of the stars it profiled. Major artists like Andy Warhol used his characteristic silkscreen technique for the March 5, 1966 cover featuring Get Smart's Barbara Feldon...Salvador Dali's unique vision foretold the future of television on the cover of June 8,1968. And as part of a series of covers for the December 22,2001 issue, artists Jamie Wyeth and Peter Max gave their tributes to the American flag in the wake of the 9/11 tragedy."
