During their search for Tundra they discover several mishaps, including a flooded parade that leads to another investigation. Upon solving that crime the canine gang finds Tundra trapped in a train car that had closed shut after she was inside eating dog treats. Written from the dogs' perspective, this text offers a change of pace from the normal mysteries. Simple text and shorter chapters make this an excellent choice for below average readers when covering a mystery unit. This book is the first in the "Dog Watch" series. 2006, Aladdin Paperbacks, Ages 8 to 12.
