Part of the "Geronimo Stilton" series, Thea—Geronimo's sister—tells the adventure five of her students went on to save Nicky's Australian sheep ranch, called a station. In addition to Nicky, the adventurers are Colette, Pamela, Paulina, and Violet. After a very long flight and a very long road journey, the five friends and Nicky's extremely handsome cousin Billy arrive at the ranch, and Nicky's Aborigine grandmother Naya tells them about the sheep in the middle pasture getting sicker and sicker. Though usually calm, the sheep are now nervous and losing their wool. Each of the mice friends has a specific skill and they put them to use to solve the problem. Turns out Nicky's mean and greedy neighbor was poisoning the sheep but his son does not hold with his father's ways. He helps save Nicky's sheep.
