James Isaiah Gabbe is a writer and photographer and co-owner of a communications firm. For many years, he was president of the Union Square Partnership, the nation s first Business Improvement District, and he is active in other community organizations. Jim attended Northeastern University and holds graduate degrees in history and journalism from Brown University and Columbia University, respectively. He is a former journalist and was a U.S. Army officer, serving in Vietnam. Jim s other written works include the novel LaRue s Maneuvers and MARCH, a dramatic play.
