Author Biography: Robert McDowell

SUSAN D. CONWAY is one of Microsoft's passionate advocates of productivity improvement, having just completed a special assignment on behalf of Microsoft Consulting Services and the U.S. Air Force Office of the CIO to build a framework for measuring the impact of technology on information-centric work. This framework is based on initial research Dr. Conway guided during her three-year tenure as executive director of the Information Work Productivity Council (IWPC). In this capacity, she led a consortium of industry and academic experts to research new productivity models aimed at helping businesses improve information work. Her industry-leading work was quoted in CIO, Fast Company, and Optimize magazines, along with her last book on knowledge management, Unlocking Knowledge Assets.
