Soren Kierkegaard (1813-1855) is considered by many to have been an influential precursor to existentialism and is also widely acknowledged to have had a major impact on theology. In his journals, the process and development of his thinking is revealed over the course of some 7000 pages. This significantly slimmer volume contains selections from the journals, covering the period 1835 to 1854.
