The Red Hat Society Night Before Christmas »

Mother of two and part-time commercial artist, Sue Ellen Cooper formed the Red Hat Society in July 2000, and since then has been devoting her energy to this social phenomenon. Sue Ellen's talents with both pen and paintbrush have been resources for the Red Hat Society, and her artwork has appeared in the Society's publications, Red Hatter Matters and Red Hat Society's LifeStyle Magazine. She lives in Fullerton, California, with her husband, Allen.

A member of the Society of Great River Poets, Connie Goss Japsen has worked as a freelance commercial artist, calligraphy instructor, and Congressional staff assistant. A volunteer elementary art teacher, she loves cooking for her appreciative husband "Burr," four children, and eight grandchildren. Connie is a member of the Crimson Classics chapter of the Red Hat Society in Burlington, Iowa.
