Nilda Chong, MD, MPH, DrPH, has more than twenty years of experience in practice, in training providers in the delivery of care for culturally diverse populations, and in leading public health education campaigns in Latin America. She holds a doctoral degree in public health with a multicultural health specialty from the University of California at Berkeley. Dr. Chong has served as a consultant for the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization, directed national health programs for the Ministry of Health in Panama, and held teaching positions at the School of Medicine, University of Panama, and at Florida State University.
