Judith S. Wallerstein, an internationally renowned expert on marriage and divorce, is principal investigator of the Children of Divorce Project. She is the founder of the Center for the Family in Transition, in Corte Madera, California, and the author of the bestselling Second Chances, a follow-up study of the same families in this book ten years after divorce. Her most recent book is The Good Marriage.Joan B. Kelly, co-principal director of the Children of Divorce Project from its inception until 1980, is known internationally for her research, articles, and presentations in the divorce, custody, and mediation areas.
