Peter cares about God, his family, and his job, but news of cuts at his factory have him doubting not only himself but everything and everyone else. During the course of the day, he meets several townspeople and realizes that he is not the only one who is struggling. VERDICT This is a gentle read and a sure bet with its even pacing, descriptive language, and humor. Look for more by this talented author in the future.
