Janet Lane Walters lives in the scenic Hudson Rover Valley with her husband. She has four children and five grandchildren. She has been published since 1968 in short stories, poetry, fiction and non-fiction. She is an eclectic writer writing romance from sweet to spicy, contemporary to historical, mysteries, suspense, and fantasy from YA to Adult. She won the EPPIE in 2003 for Becoming Your Own Critique Partner with Jane Toombs . She has finaled in that contest two other times and has been a finalist in the Dream Realm awards twice.
