Ecclesiastical changes resulting from the Second Vatican Council inspired a revised approach to the issue of sharing the Eucharist with those who are not in full communion with the Catholic Church. Author Biography: Myriam Wijlen is a Professor of Theology in the Institute of Canon Law at University of M nster in Germany. She serves as a judge on the diocesan tribunal in M nster and is author of "Theology and Canon Law: The Theories of Klaus Mörsdorf and Eugenio Corecco" (University Press of America, 1992).
