Alex Wilson is an avid canoeist and naturalist. He is the publisher of Environmental Building News. John Hayes has spent years exploring the quiet waters of New England and New York. Together Alex Wilson and John Hayes have written Quiet Water paddling guides for New Hampshire/Vermont, Massachusetts/Connecticut/Rhode Island, and Maine.
