Georg Popp studied art and art education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich.
He is currently General Secretary of the German Omani Association, coordinating international exhibitions related to Oman, commissioned by the Diwan of the Royal Court of the Sultanate of Oman.

Juma Al-Maskari, born in Zanzibar, was sent after school from Oman to Germany to study electro-engineering. He resides in Germany and is a founding member of the German-Oman Association, and current member of the Advisory Board.
