Award-winning author Jill Shure worked on Capitol Hill for three years before returning to San Diego where she attended graduate school and received her teaching degree. She then pursued writing and worked with screenwriter Howard Browne, and later with novelist Joan Oppenheimer. Shure has written several novels and has been a finalist for the Austin Heart of Film Screenwriting Competition and the Academy of Motion Pictures Nicholl Fellowship. Shure also studied screenwriting at UCLA, and with such notable gurus as Syd Field and Linda Seger. Her fiction has won awards throughout the years, including the prestigious Ben Franklin Award for Popular Fiction for her novel, Night Jazz. Her latest two books, Night Glitter, the much-anticipated sequel to Night Jazz, and Night Caps, a fun historical cocktail book, are scheduled for release in early 2010.

There, Jeri comes face to face with her ancestors, finds sanctuary in a brothel, and is forced into servitude with a movie star diva intent on hiding ruinous secrets of her own. Alone and conflicted, Jeri must find a way back into the arms of the man she loves.
