Author Biography: Larry H. Dietz

LARRY H. DIETZ is the associate vice-chancellor for student affairs and enrollment management and assistant professor in urban leadership and policy studies, School of Education, University of Missouri-Kansas City.

VICKY L. TRIPONEY is associate vice president for campus life and assistant professor in the College of Education at Wichita State University and currently serves as both a member of the national board of directors and the Region IV-West vice president for the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA).

Book Synopsis

This issue identifies and explores the special challenges and unique opportunities faced by student affairs at metropolitan universities—revealing how to build on the urban setting and the rich diversity of the student population to enhance student life.
