A revised edition of a reliable guide (4x7.5) to the identification of some 621 species of herbaceous plants, bulbs, trees, shrubs, and vines growing east of the line extending southeastward from the Arctic along the eastern base of the Rockies to the Big Bend region of Texas at the Mexican border. Photographs are arranged by flower color and keyed to the concise descriptions which reflect current taxonomy. Includes nearly 1,000 new color images depicting wildflowers up close and in their natural habitats.
