Purpose:It's clear the authors intend this book to be used in conjunction with medical terminology textbooks.
Audience:Although not specifically stated, the book is geared towards students taking medical terminology. Given the unique concept and layout, it's apparent the authors are experts.
Features:As a study guide for medical terminology, the book covers the entire gamut of medical terminology and includes sections on topics such as congenital disorders and pharmacology. Full color cartoon figures illustrate phonetic pronunciations and definitions. The format allows the pages to be removed and used as flash cards.
Assessment:This is an excellent learning aid for students taking medical terminology. Students will find the innovative, full color, detachable pages very useful for studying. This is a unique and highly recommended medical terminology study companion.
