An easy way to teach math to young children using art.

This book is another great way to introduce children to math and make it fun! The table of contents is superb. It lists the activity, time needed to prepare for the activity, appropriate age group, art medium, skill acquired, and it also indicates if adult help or caution is required. Icons are used throughout the book to represent this information. In addition, the activities are listed in progressive order (i.e., 3 to 6 years). They are designed to use everyday experiences to teach math. At the end of the book there are two indexes, one to provide access by the art medium, and one to locate activities by the math concept or skill. This book is a must for every teacher.
