Mac, Information Detective, introduces the ending stage of the research process in which students evaluate their information and their inquiry process and decide how to present their findings to others. Lessons are all coordinated to AASL information literacy standards and national content area standards as applicable in language arts and science. The read aloud illustrated picture book is accompanied by an educator's guide offering lesson plans and many reproducible worksheets for student use. Interactive pages placed throughout the read aloud picture books help teachers and librarians pace their reading and introduce activities that teach the ending stage of the inquiry process. A vocabulary list is included to aide in student comprehension. Grades K-3.
