When Wiglaf learns that he has won "A Day With Sir Lancelot (The World's Most Perfect Knight)," he can hardly believe it. His friend Erica can't believe it, either! And when the big day arrives, she is even more doubtful. Is Erica just jealous, or is there something fishy about The World's Most Perfect Knight?
All of the students of the Dragon Slayer's Academy have entered an essay contest in hopes of winning a day with "The World's Most Perfect Knight," Sir Lancelot. As it turns out, Wiglaf of Pinwick, the most unlikely winner, has indeed won the honor of spending the day with the bravest knight in the land. Wiglaf and his friends are utterly thrilled when Lancelot visits their school, but as the day progresses, Wiglaf's friend and Lancelot expert, Erica, becomes more and more suspicious of the seemingly perfect knight. McMullan has combined medieval fiction with modern day conveniences. It might be a bit confusing for some readers who cannot separate the two, but overall, the story and the oddball combinations are enjoyable. This would be a great book for reading in a group setting. Number five in the "Dragon Slayers' Academy" series.
