Michael Waddell is one of the most popular hosts on the Outdoor Channel, where he is featured on three shows: Bone Collector, Realtree Road Trips, and NWTF's Turkey Call. He is also the public face of many of the country's leading outdoor manufacturers, including Realtree, Bushnell, Hoyt, and Remington. Waddell is the spokesman for the National Wild Turkey Federation and has served as honorary chairman of National Hunting and Fishing Day. He has hunted just about anything that is legal prey in the United States, and much else in Africa and beyond. He was born and raised in Booger Bottom, Georgia, where he learned everything that matters.

Booger Bottom, in rural Georgia, probably got its name from the Feds ("booger") who seized local moonshines stills during Prohibition. Today, Booger Bottom's most famous product isn't moonshine, it's Michael Waddell.

Waddell grew up in a modest home and his mother died of concer when he was young. Yet he wanted for little—he had lots of time to hunt and a wonderful father who showed him how.He would grow up to become a hunting legend, and have the chance to stalk elk, moose, caribou, wildebeest, eland, and just about everything else between Alaska and Africa. And he owes it all to the lessons of Booger Bottom.
