Author Biography: Linda Carnevale

A native Long Islander, very happily married, and mother of three loveable sons, Linda Carnevale has been writing college preparatory books for BARRON'S Educational Series Publishers since 2000. Titles include HOT WORDS for the SAT and SAT2400: Aiming for the Perfect Score. An alumna of Columbia University's Teacher College where she earned a Master of Arts in English Education with an emphasis on nonfiction writing, Carnevale has two new Websites that specialize in college admissions support:collegeessaydoctors.com and mytesttube.com .

Carnevale has been a tenured teacher of English at a nationally-ranked TOP 100 Gold Medal Long Island High School. Among her dozens of local and national published credits are Long Island Quarterly literary journal, BRIDE'S and Modern Bride magazines, and - most recently - PAUMANOK: Poems & Pictures of Long Island (Hardcover Anthology, 2010).
