Author Biography: Karen M. Goeller

Karen Goeller has a career in gymnastics spanning over thirty years, twenty-five of which were spent coaching. As the owner of a gymnastics center for ten years and a coach for 25, Karen has spent thousands of hours in the gym. Karen has produced NY State Champions, National TOPS Team Athletes, and Empire State Games Athletes among many successful athletes. She considers it a privilege to have worked at Karolyi's Camp for seven summers as well as at USGTC and IGC for a decade of Holiday Clinics. Working at these camps along with attending many USA Gymnastics events such as Regional Congress and the National TOPS Training Camp have all been contributing factors to her vast knowledge of the sport. Before earning her BA Degree, Karen's education included training as an EMT, Physical Therapist, and Nutritionist.
