Book Synopsis

GOLF COURSE TURF MANAGEMENT FOR THE PROFESSIONAL

If your job requires keeping a golf course way above par for hackers, duffers, and pros, this is an essential reference you’ll need on hand at all times.

Written with great insight by a trio of longstanding groundskeepers, Golf Course Turf Management addresses specific areas of the course — greens, tees, fairway, and more — and provides practical tips on how to maintain each effectively and efficiently. The book also includes:

* Hundreds of informative illustrations

* Coverage of pest control and irrigation

* Construction methods

* Turf establishment and maintenance

* And much, much more!

Plus, you get detailed discussions on a host of key issues — communication, labor, budgets, and the Golf Course Superintendents Association. No matter if you're a golf course superintendent, a member of the grounds personnel, or a lawn care professional, Golf Course Turf Management will help you do your job more effectively.
