Author Biography: Kathleen (Kay) B. Burke

Kay Burke has facilitated professional development workshops and graduate courses for thousands of educators throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia. As an educator, she was an award-winning classroom teacher, a school administrator, and a university instructor. She is internationally known for her books and training programs in the areas of authentic classroom assessments, rubric development, performance task unit planning, student, teacher, and administrative portfolios, classroom management, coaching, and mentoring.
