Author Biography: Sam Irlander

Samuel Irlander is a licensed real estate professional in 44 states and has a Real Estate Broker license in many of these states. He has taught Pre-licensing for Salesperson and Brokers courses since 1981 for institutions such as the Real Estate Board of New York, New York University, New School, Hunter College, Baruch College, and the Long Island Board of Realtors. Mr. Irlander has also taught the Art of Negotiation at NYU and Administration of Real Property course (the last course in the Building Owners and Managers International (BOMI) five-year program required for the RPA Property Management designation. Mr. Irlander attended Brooklyn College.

Sam Irlander has written numerous courses for various institutions such as New York University, Real Estate Board of New York and Baruch College. These courses are approved NYCEM courses towards required continuing education credit. In addition, effective fall 1995, New York University appointed Mr. Irlander Adjunct Assistant Professor of Real Estate. In addition, he is currently a certified licensed Real Estate Instructor in the state of Florida where he teaches professionals Pre- and Post-Licensing courses. He has recently completed writing a continuing education textbook entitled Inside the Commercial Real Estate Transaction". He has also contributed to the editing and re-writing of the Textbook entitled "Modern Real Estate Practice in New York", 6th Edition."
