She sets out to make Robert her new best ami. She and Robert find they enjoy many fun times together, but Nancy continues to be puzzled by his interest in horses and cowboys until she discovers that her uncharacteristic tardy arrival to the classroom on Robert's first day in school meant she missed hearing all of the key information. Suffice it to say, there is more than ONE Paris on the globe. This charming story of friendship is nicely illustrated, not by Ms. Glasser, but by Ted Enik, who ably creates full-color artwork in the frilly "Fancy Nancy" spirit throughout the book's interior pages.
