Book Synopsis

This book/disk resource provides 74 reproducible homework worksheets designed to help clients through the emotions of divorce. Assignments are organized around the typical stages of separation and divorce, and address issues of self-esteem, practical and legal matters, personal values, and constructing new relationships. The assignments can be used with wedded and nonwedded couples going through separation and break up, and with same-sex as well as heterosexual relationships. Although it can be used as a self-help book, it is intended to augment individual therapy. Rich is a practicing clinical social worker. The companion disk contains homework forms in Microsoft Word for Windows version 7.0. This work lacks a subject index. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
