This is Mr. Hagy's third volume of transcriptions of Charleston city directories available from Clearfield Company. In this book the author has compiled all the names and other pertinent genealogical information which can be found in the Charleston city directories of 1816, 1819, 1822, 1825, and 1829. Typically, the directory entries furnish the name of the Charleston resident, his address, and, in the majority of cases, his occupation.
