ALASTAIR GREIG is Reader and Head of School of Social Science, Australian National University, Australia. DAVID HULME is Professor of Development Studies and Director, Chronic Poverty Research entre, Institute for Development and Management, University of Manchester. MARK TURNER is Professor of Management, School of Management and Policy, University of Canberra, Australia.
