Bill Watterson is the creator of Calvin and Hobbes, one of the most popular and well-regarded cartoon strips of the twentieth century. Calvin and Hobbes appeared in newspapers from November 1985 until Watterson's retirement in 1996.

Calvin and Hobbes: Sunday Pages 1985-1995 is the catalog accompaniment to the first exhibit devoted to Bill Watterson's cartoon work. The exhibit will be presented at The Ohio State University Cartoon Research Library, from September 2001 to January 16, 2002, as part of the 2001 Festival of Cartoon Art.
