Author Biography: Paula Aquilla

Paula Aquilla, B.Sc., OT has worked with adults and children in clinical, educational, home, and community-based settings. She is an active treating therapist who currently runs a private practice serving families with children who have special needs.

Shirley Sutton, B.Sc., OT has worked as an occupational therapist for more than 20 years with special needs children in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, and childcare centers. She owns and manages a private practice specializing in consultation, workshops, and publications.

Ellen Yack has practiced as an occupational therapist since 1979. She is the director of a private agency providing occupational therapy services to children, adolescents, and their families. Her areas of expertise include sensory integration, autism, and learning disabilities.
