The Ladies' Killing Circle, Inc. is made up of Canadian mystery writers. These women have published several anthologies of short mystery stories and poetry. The anthologies include stories from women mystery writers from across Canada. Prolific writers, the Ladies' Killing Circle writers have published stories in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Murderous Intent Magazine, Storyteller, Chatelaine, and Thema.

Music may soothe the savage breast, but in this fifth collection of witty and wicked crime fiction, music provides the background for tales of murder and mayhem. Eighteen stories by Canadian women crime writers, along with poems from Joy Hewitt Mann, take their inspiration from titles as varied as the upbeat "Wake Up Little Suzie," the romantic "Summertime," and the show tune "There's No Business like Show Business." Each story adds to the chilling whole, but humor and character are most prevalent.
