Bear Feats Out of Alaska »

Norm Aaberg's bear cartoons show Alaska's bears from a humorous perspective, from the bears in the "Aberrant Behavior Modification Program" on the cover to the bear pierced by a falling stalactite in the final frame. Aaberg, a commercial fisherman and retired teacher, began drawing bears in 1990 while teaching a class of third- and fourth-graders in Newhalen.
