THE AUTHORS

John Downes is the author of many books and is a financial consultant and writer whose career encompasses banking, corporate and public finance, and investor relations. He has been affiliated with several institutions in the private and public sectors, including the Chase Manhattan Bank, Avco Financial Services, and New York City's Office for Economic Development.

Jordan Elliot Goodman is a financial analyst and commentator who appears frequently on TV and radio, and speaks on financial topics across the United States to audiences that include employees, associations, government agencies, and students. For many years, he was the Wall Street correspondent for Money magazine and a commentator for NBC News at Sunrise. He appears frequently on CNN, Fox News, Fox Business Network, CNBC, and Fox News. He is the author of Everyone's Money Book, Fast Profits in Hard Times, Master Your Debt,and Reading Between the Lines. He is the President of the Financial Services Division of the Freedom Investment Club, the largest investment club in North America, which can be found at www.ficinvestors.com.
