Author of Christmas for Dummies, among other titles, Wilson here uses the device of a field guide to present 75 Christmas cookie recipes, from Aloha Bars to Linzer Tarts to Victoria Currant Cookies. Each recipe includes "habitat" (i.e., country of origin), "field notes" (e.g., cook's tips), "lifespan" (storage information), and a color photograph. Various icons indicate which ones are especially quick, good for making with kids, sturdy enough to mail, and the like.
