Russell A. Barkley, PhD, ABPP, is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Barkley has published numerous books, more than 200 scientific articles and book chapters, and 7 videos on ADHD and related disorders, including childhood defiance. He is also the editor of the newsletter The ADHD Report. A frequent conference presenter and speaker who is widely cited in the national media, he is past president of the Section on Clinical Child Psychology, Division 12 of the American Psychological Association, and of the International Society for Research in Child and Adolescent Psychopathology. Kevin R. Murphy, PhD, is President of the Adult ADHD Clinic of Central Massachusetts in Northboro. He was Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Chief of the Adult ADHD Clinic at the University of Massachusetts Medical School from 1992 to 2003. Dr. Murphy has coauthored 2 books and over 30 scientific articles and book chapters on adult ADHD, and is a frequent speaker and conference presenter on issues related to assessment and treatment of adult ADHD, disability determination, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, and testing/workplace accommodations. He is a former member of the National Advisory Board of Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD), and was elected to the CHADD Hall of Fame in 2001.

Description:This is the third edition of a clinical workbook to accompany the ADHD Handbook by one of the foremost authorities, Russell Barkley. This updated edition is a wonderful supplement and addition to the study of ADHD and expertly supports the main handbook.
Purpose:The purpose is to provide assessment and treatment forms, questionnaires, and handouts which are recommended in the handbook. Considering the prevalence of ADHD, as well as the pace of daily clinical practice, this book fills the need for resources for practitioners.
Audience:Both seasoned and newly minted clinicians will find this book beneficial. More importantly, the utility of this book as a standalone teaching tool cannot be overstated and graduate students and residents will also benefit. Clients will benefit from the numerous handouts and supplementary material that their clinicians will share with them.
