Author Biography: Raymond Chang

****Reen Gibb, Brookline High School, has been teaching Advanced Placement Chemistry for over 25 years. She has been a workshop leader for the College Board since 2001 and a Reader since 2003. She has been a Curriculum Consultant for WGBH NOVA science film series, a Curriculum Advisor for Science NOW, PBS, and a Curriculum Advisor for ZOOM series, PBS. She is a graduate of Tufts and Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Reen was responsible for writing the chapter reviews and the end of chapter multiple choice questions.

****Carol Murphree, Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, has been teaching Advanced Placement Chemistry for over 15 years. She has been an AP Faculty Consultant

Educational Testing Service/College Board since 1999, an AP workshop leader since 2000, and served as an AP Consultant reviewing resource material for AP Central.

Carol is a graduate of Smith College, Georgetown University, and Northeastern University. Carol was responsible for writing the chapter reviews and the end of chapter multiple choice questions.

****Lisa McGaw, University of Central Oklahoma, has served as a reader for the AP Chemistry exam since 1994, table leader for the exam since 1998, and a question leader since 2004. She received the Southwest Regional Award for AP Chemistry in 1997. Lisa is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University and West Texas A&M University. Lisa was responsible for writing the multiple choice questions in each of the practice exams.

****Steve Bertenshaw graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in chemistry and biology, an M.S. in chemistry, and a Ph.D. in organic chemistry. He worked as a research scientist at Monsanto Corporation and at Bristol-Meyers Squibb. He has been teaching chemistry, AP chemistry, biotechnology, and biology at Cheshire High School in Connecticut since 2000. Steve was responsible for writing the comprehension questions at the end of each chapter and the Free-Response Questions in the practice exams.

Book Synopsis
