Book Synopsis

When a body is discovered in an empty stall on the opening day of an elite horse show at Jake Ward's farm, there are no signs it's anything but a natural death. But when a second body is unearthed in a shallow grave behind the barn, investigators declare both deaths to be homicides. And, despite a lack of any supporting evidence, target Jake as their only suspect. The pressure intensifies when the lead investigator and a potential witness to the first murder are killed...and Jake's fingerprints are found at both scenes. Jake's desperate search for the real killer unearths intertwined conspiracies that stretch even into his own bedroom.
