Author Biography: William H. Nesbitt

Philip L. Wright was appointed as one of the original Official Measurers by the Boone and Crockett Club in 1950. He became a Regular Member of the Club in 1971 and served as the Chairman of the Records of North American Big Game Committee from 1987-1994. Wright received the coveted Sagamore Hill Award, the Club's highest honor, in 1996, and served as an Honorary Life Member of the Club from 1984 until he passed away 1997 in Missoula, Montana.

William H. Nesbitt became an Official Measurer of the Boone and Crockett Club in 1974 and later became a Professional Member in 1977. Nesbitt has served the Club in many capacities including recording secretary for the Records of North American Big Game Committee, Administrative Director, and, Executive Director. Nesbitt currently resides in Woodbridge, Virginia.
