I found this book to be excellent for teaching one to tie all kinds of knots. The instructions as well as the illustrations make it easy to learn almost any knot. Purchased from Amazon used and saved a bundle of money. The used book was in superb condition!

Hard to follow. I'm more visual. But very informative.

If you are a fisherman or a knotologist you need this book, Really good book, the mysteries of attaching a hook or tackle to line are revealed.

Nice glossy pictures, but so much of it is specific to stuff I don't do here in the Northwest Pacific. I've never seen anything even remotely similar to many of the rigs. Nice book, if you're an Australian fisherman. I should have read closer that the publisher is Australian and realized it wasn't a good fit for me.

overall a good purchase and a good book. The only downfall is the graphics [illustrations] would be better followed with more brake down steps with some of the more complicated knots.

Very comprehensive but complicated.

I bought this book to give me a better understanding of the many knots I should be using in my fishing. I will probably use only 3 of them. The section on rigs is also too complicated for my needs. Simplicity is the key to my style of fishing. This book is just about OK as a reference book, not to be read from cover to cover!
