I received this book as a gift and decided to try cooking from this book for a week. The first five recipes I have tried have include:

Fresh Tuscan Tomato Basil Soup
Shrimp Bisque with Scallops
Sesame Crusted Chicken Breasts
Zucchini with Seafood Tomato and Bacon
Salt Cod in Thick and Creamy Egg Sauce

All of these had good appeal on paper, but once the meal was served, it was clear that they were just too much work for too little taste. I suggest looking for other sources for gluten-free meals.

this book has a lot of interesting recipes. But it has a dismal index. One recipe is blueberry peach cobbler. the index ha no entry for peach, blueberry, or cobbler.

I never liked to cook and was diagnosed with celiac disease a few months ago and had to start cooking. Luckily, this was my first cookbook I bought. Everything I have tried out of the book comes out wonderfully - and many of the recipes can be doubled or tripled for party-sized dishes. I highly recommend this book - it shows that not all gluten-free cooking has to be bland and boring.
