Loved, loved, LOVED this book...Allison Hobbs served it up in this installment.

Main characters Terrell and Marquise are trying to put their life back on the right track...Marquise is fresh out of jail and Terrell is happy to have her man at home. Marquise is working and trying to do the right thing by Terrell and his baby girl.
Enter Kai Montgomery - a certified snob who shares nothing in common with Terrell and Marquise except the fact that they all work in the same nursing home and she's part African American (just don't tell her that...the girl has some DEEP rooted issues regarding her race). Kai has just been dumped by her well to do VERY MARRIED Caucasian lover and he wants nothing to do with Kai. Kai has a very high sex drive and will take it any way she can get it. Kai's path crosses with Marquise...and what starts as a one night stand for Marquise, soon becomes a sexual and very fatal attraction for Kai, Marquise and Terrell. It's not your typical fatal attraction....there's some surprises thrown in for good measure. So sit back and enjoy the ride...

This is my second book by Allison Hobbs. I must say that I am impressed. Honestly, at the suggestion of Zane I chose to read a book by Allison. I was not disappointed at all. I was reading the book and thinking some people never learn lessons in life. People make mistakes and they deserve a second chance. However, sometimes you have to say enough is enough. Otherwise, they will drag you down with them. The book was very entertaining and the end was interesting to say the least. I'll leave it at that without giving too much away.

"Insatiable" was one of the best books I read in a long time. I sent the talented Ms. Hobbs an email to let her know just that, and she emailed me back. But anyway go ahead and drop this book in your cart, you will not be dissapointed. It is the story of a young single mom, Terelle Chambers who works very hard to provide for her daughter and to keep her phone on for her man Marquise who is in prison. You know how those collect calls can add up.Everything is all good until Marquise gets a job at the nursing home where Terelle works, and meets Kai. Kai is a bi-racial woman who is very twisted in the mind. She basically hates African Americans because her Black mom abandoned her. Well Kai hooks up with Marquise, and then the drama starts. This book is funny and will keep you hooked. It is very real and I could relate to a lot of the situations. I give this book 10 stars out of five!!!

I thought this book was okay...it was nothing like I expected. The book did started off slow but the middle of the book was really good. I was disappointed with the ending. This is the second book that I have read by Allison Hobbs and it was just like the previous book (One Taste) in that it seemed like she didn't know how to end it so she threw something together and just stopped it there...Overall, it was okay but I would not recommend this book to any of my friends...
