I have been using the Passporter Guide Books for many years. As a frequent traveler and reader, I think I own every Disney guide available. Passporter wins, hands down, every time. This guide book is unique in that it is more than just information. It is a way to plan and a way to journal. My yearly Passporters have become mini scrapbooks of travel memories. This book is updated yearly and I believe it to be the most current Disney guide out there. Of course things change at Disney all the time and the writers do need time to get the book printed, so there will always be a few things that have changed. The beauty is that readers can log onto the Passporter site for current updates, forums and so much more. There is no charge for the website. To the previous reviewer that suggested not writing in this book due to the glossy pages, I suggest a change of pen. My 2010 edition is already full of underlined phrases, highlighted sections and notes. No smudges, no problem at all. The pass pockets in the back keep all the important documents together as well as stuff we pick up in the parks. The planning sheets are a vital part of our planning process. Even though we are serious Disney Veterans, I would not take a trip to WDW without the current edition of Passporter!

I first used this in 2007 and found it completely invaluable. I used it again in 2010 and barely used it. It definitely has some info I've found nowhere else, like prices for tours. But with smartphones the need for something like this that you'd bring with you is dwindling, especially for veterans. If you know nothing about Disney World and buy only one book, this is the one. Be sure to buy it before you starting planning, not just before the trip.

This will help you pick where to stay, where to eat, what to see, plan how much time to a lot for activities, travel options and time from place-to-place. You can keep all your travel documents and reservation information in here. There are original maps of resorts, and entertainment and activity information that you might otherwise have to "hunt" for on websites and newsgroups.

Even if you are a veteran I think buying the book once every 3-4 years is probably still a good idea, you never know what nugget of information you'll find. Disney World isn't stagnant, and I find it difficult to obtain detailed information prior to arriving in FL. Disney doesn't seem to want you to know too much until you actually arrive, yet you need to plan and reserve things so far in advance. Odd.

I got this book for my first trip years ago and found it recently when we were planning with my 10 year old and ordered this year's edition to take with us,the small concise reviews were perfect for her to get a real sense of each attraction or restaurant, she took the tween reviews very seriously. It was helpful to catch a quick look when organizing our priorities for each park. The pockets were very useful for keeping the confirmations for car/tickets/reservations organized for each day and the fill in the blank journal pages were great dinner time prompts to jot some thoughts and favorite parts to remember. It was a little hefty to take along but I had the back pack and found I could read ahead and we discussed our next option while waiting in line. I would suggest using the tabs provided since I was always switching between maps and reviews.

Passporter is the guide we buy for every trip to Disney. The give great information on the entire resort. Our favorite features are the pages at the back of the book for documenting reservations, a daily to do list, a place for memories of the day, and pockets for saved items. We make it a point to fill out those pages each night when we go back to the hotel. It's fun to go through those when you get home and remember your favorite and least favorite things from each day, plus when we get home, all the receipts are neatly tucked in each days' pocket so I don't have to search everywhere to gather them all together!

I just received my 2010 Passporter in the mail and I love it. It is very informative and has great reviews of everything available at Disney World. The author's give fair and unbiased reviews on rides, attractions, hotels, and dining. It is a lot more informative and much less opinionated than some of the other guidebooks out there. And all of the pictures they use are awesome. They did a great job of mixing in pictures from actual readers and the author's own professional photos. I recommend this guide to everyone I know who is going to Disney World. It is a first rate product.

I purchased this book along with the "Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2010." The PassPorter's pockets at the end of the book came in very handy while on our vacation. I love to scrapbook and I was able to keep all of the brochures, keys to the world, fast passes, menus, etc. tucked into the daily pockets. It also gives you places to write the best/worst things of the day, unforgettable moments, etc. It's quick and easy to fill out before bed each night and when you go home to scrapbook everything is at your fingertips. If you're like me, it's now a year later and I'm just getting ready to put my album together....luckily I was able to take all of those notes!
The "Unofficial Guide is, however, a better book for WDW information. I will always purchase them together for future trips.

I bought the passporter for Disney world to help plan for my travel. If you are travelling to Disney, especially in the busy seasons, you will need some advice and this book will tell you most things. When you purchase your book, go online and join Passporters club as you will get even more updates and talk to other passporter members who will give you valuable advice. I bought through Amazon because I needed a quick delivery to Australia and it arrived in 3 business days. Has everything. Read the information about dining plan to maximise your savings.
