A native of Ireland, Joseph Murphy (1898 — 1981) was a prolific and widely admired New Thought minister and writer, best known for his motivational classic, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind, an international bestseller since it first blazed onto the self-help scene. This is a great read! So many good reminders on how our thinking can affect our bodies and our experiences / reality outside of our bodies. Not too “sciencey”, it’s an easy read in layman’s terms. My favourite feature is the review / take away points at the end of each chapter. The paragraphs are short, so you can easily read a chapter in 15 mins, which is a great way to start a day off. The author does refer to Bible and scripture, which may not appeal to some readers, but if you can focus on the meat and potatoes and not get too caught up in the small details, the overall message and reminders is great! I would recommend this book.

Für alle, die Probleme damit haben, dass 'Gott' oft erwähnt wird: Joseph Murphy sagt selbst: Du kannst 'Gott' ersetzen, z. B. durch 'die unendliche Intelligenz' oder was Dir am liebsten ist. So habe ich es gemacht. Und damit es es für mich passend. Es ist aus meiner Sicht das beste Buch von Joseph Murphy.

Diesmal habe ich es eben in Englisch verschenkt.
