My 9 yr old daughter isn't totally about reading, but I occasionally find her relaxing to quietly reading this series of books for the last year or two that we've owned them.
Thank you :)

Nice book. There appears to be a series of similar books. I think I got more out of it than my 10 year old I bought it for. At least I can talk to him about what is taught in the book even if he does not seem interested so much in reading it.

the 40 Assets series is great, and I liked this book - but the Kindle edition was, I thought, hard to navigate. I got it for my 10 year old son but wish it were easier to send him directly to one chapter or another.

I have been using this as a tool for social skills with 5th grade students. The content is relevant and presented in a way that is easy for children to understand.

I bought this book for my two young school age boys to help with social skills. Reading the books together and discussing the stories and exercises was a great way to connect, and open up opportunities to discuss our own experiences.

not exactly what I am looking for

This book is great for all my kids. They like originality and sometimes get picked on at school by the "it" crowd. This book helped them realize that fitting in is a choice, not an obligation.
